Level 2 Nursery Assistant – Early Years Educator

About the role

Join a vibrant early years setting as a Level 2 Nursery Assistant, delivering a playful learning environment for children aged 0‑5. You will support the development of young minds while working alongside a dedicated team that values continuous growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the ‘Learning through play’ ethos across daily activities.
• Create and lead innovative, age‑appropriate play sessions.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Promote child welfare and adhere to all safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• NVQ/Cache Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for early childhood education.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
