Level 2 Nursery Practitioner – Early Years Educator

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our early years setting in Binfield. You will help shape young minds by delivering a play‑based curriculum and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver our ‘Learning through play’ ethos each day.
• Plan and implement innovative activities that challenge and engage children.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Promote child welfare and follow all safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily activities.

Required profile

• NVQ/Cache Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, energetic and positive outlook.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS standards and children’s developmental milestones.
• Ability to design play‑based learning experiences.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
