Level 2 Nursery Practitioner (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our team at CherryGrove Day Nursery in High Wycombe. The role is part‑time (31 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday) and offers a supportive environment where you can help children learn, play and grow safely.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Build trusted relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for all children.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and high standards of care.

Required profile

• Compassionate, reliable and committed to early years education.
• Level 2 childcare qualification.
• Confident written and spoken English.
• Desirable: experience in an Early Years setting and knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding best practices.

Required skills

• Understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
