Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Canada Water

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established early years provider in Canada Water, London, to recruit a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. The role is full‑time and permanent, offering the chance to work in a vibrant, multicultural nursery that supports children from infancy to the end of the EYFS.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver play‑based learning activities that promote curiosity, creativity and independence.
• Act as the designated Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their families.
• Observe, assess and record each child’s progress and use this information to plan next steps.
• Support children’s emotional wellbeing and personal development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment, adhering to safeguarding, health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance outcomes for all children.
• Contribute to activities that celebrate diversity, language development and cultural awareness.

Required profile

• Recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Positive attitude, team‑oriented mindset and commitment to professional development.
