About the role
We are partnering with a high‑achieving primary school in Lewisham to recruit a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday position supporting early years pupils in an inclusive classroom.
Key responsibilities
- Support Early Years pupils alongside the class teacher, delivering the EYFS curriculum.
- Provide tailored assistance for children with SEN, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs.
- Deliver small‑group and one‑to‑one interventions to promote learning, communication and social development.
- Take observations, monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans and support strategies.
- Collaborate with the school’s SENCO, teachers, parents and external professionals to ensure appropriate support.
Required profile
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (NVQ, CACHE, BA or equivalent).
- GCSEs in Maths and English (grade A*‑C / 9‑4).
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and experience of early years observations and assessments.
- Experience supporting children with SEN in an early years, nursery or primary setting is highly desirable.
- Confident, patient, proactive and a positive team player.
