Level 3 Learning Support Assistant – Full‑time

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join an early years setting in Colchester. This full‑time position starts on 1 September 2026 and offers a long‑term, ongoing booking arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Support children in an early years environment, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
• Assist with day‑to‑day classroom activities and help maintain routine.
• Manage challenging behaviour in line with school policies.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver tailored support for pupils with special educational needs.

Required profile

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• SEN training or qualifications are desirable.
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (registered with the online update service) or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional child‑related references.
