About the role
We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join our Early Years team in Barking & Dagenham. This full‑time, long‑term position starts in September 2026 and offers a competitive daily rate.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Nursery team in delivering high‑quality care and education aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Assist the class teacher and Early Years staff in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
- Facilitate children’s learning through play, observations, and assessments.
- Promote social and emotional development and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents to meet each child’s individual needs.
Required profile
- Recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, enthusiastic attitude.
- Commitment to supporting young learners and contributing to a nurturing environment.
