About the role
Staff nest ltd is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join its dedicated early years team in Reading. The successful candidate will work in a warm, supportive environment, helping children aged 0‑5 thrive through high‑quality care and learning.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Observe, assess and record each child’s development and progress.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure compliance with EYFS standards.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for early childhood development.
