Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Cambridge (Part‑time/Full‑time)

About the role

TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join Early Years settings across Cambridge and its surrounding areas. You will work directly with children, providing a safe, stimulating environment that supports their learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and age‑appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and implement engaging, fun sessions that promote social, emotional, physical and educational growth.
• Observe, monitor and record children’s progress, contributing to learning records and development plans.
• Support individual routines and needs, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues while adhering to safeguarding, health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Patient, caring, enthusiastic and reliable.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
