Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our Croydon nursery. You will work alongside qualified staff to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for babies and young children.

Key responsibilities

• Assist children with personal care, including feeding and toileting.
• Support play and learning activities appropriate to each developmental stage.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment throughout the nursery.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions and nursery events.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Genuine passion for working with babies and young children.
• Reliable, caring and able to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop further skills in early years care.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety standards.
• Basic first‑aid awareness.
• Effective communication with children, parents and staff.
