Level 3 Qualified 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Anfield Primary School

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with a mainstream primary school in Anfield, Liverpool, to recruit a Level 3 Qualified 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The role provides dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑to‑one assistance to a pupil with SEND, following their EHCP, IEP or support plan.
• Adapt learning activities, resources and teaching strategies to suit individual needs.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor progress.
• Support communication, language development, social interaction and emotional wellbeing.
• Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour in the classroom.

Required profile

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow established safeguarding procedures.
