About the role
This full‑time, term‑time position supports a child with complex special educational needs (SEN) in a Liverpool school. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child accesses learning and engages positively.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with complex SEN.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored assistance.
- Help the child access curriculum content, regulate emotions, and participate in classroom activities.
Required profile
- Experience supporting children with complex SEN in a school or care setting.
- Calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Relevant qualification in education or SEN support.
- Genuine passion for inclusive education.
