LGV (C+E) Driver – Purfleet

About the role

As an LGV (C+E) Driver for Ocado Logistics you will be responsible for moving grocery stock between our state‑of‑the‑art warehouse in Pitsea and regional sites across the area. The role operates on a flexible shift pattern that includes nights, early mornings and weekends, with a minimum contracted 32‑hour week.

Key responsibilities

• Collect shopping orders from the main warehouse and deliver them to designated regional locations.
• Follow all company policies, health‑and‑safety procedures and traffic regulations.
• Work a rotating schedule of night, early‑morning and weekend shifts, often exceeding the contracted hours.
• Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph and complete required paperwork.

Required profile

• Valid Category C+E driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• At least 12 months of driving experience, preferably with LGV vehicles.
• Safe, competent driver who can adapt to variable daily shift lengths.

Required skills

• Category C+E driving licence.
• Proficiency with digital tachograph equipment.
