LGV Class 2 Driver

About the role

Our client, a well‑established builder's merchant in Cheltenham, is seeking a dependable LGV Class 2 Driver to support growing demand. This is a permanent, full‑time position delivering building materials across the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Complete local multi‑drop deliveries of construction supplies.
• Operate Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally throughout the area.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate, on time and meet customer expectations.
• Provide excellent customer service at each site.
• Adhere to transport, tachograph and health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid CAT C Class 2 LGV licence.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Driving licence Category C with no more than six penalty points.
• Positive attitude, strong motivation and reliable teamwork.

Required skills

• Class 2 LGV vehicle operation.
• Use of digital tachograph equipment.
• Possession of a CPC card.
• HIAB licence (preferred, funding available).
