LGV Driver – Full‑time (Bristol)

About the role

DPD is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join its national transport team in Bristol. You will operate a modern fleet, handling bulk collections and deliveries between DPD sites and major customers across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV‑friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading and unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachograph systems to plan routes and ensure 100 % compliance.
• Maintain professional relationships with dispatchers and customers.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritize safety in all conditions.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) licence, CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum six months experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and a safety‑first mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and meet deadlines.
