LGV Van Driver / Driver’s Mate

About the role

Join LWC Drinks as an LGV Van Driver / Driver’s Mate, delivering beverages to customers across the North West while supporting warehouse operations. You will be responsible for safe vehicle handling, accurate deliveries, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the van clean and road‑worthy.
• Load goods securely, plan efficient routes and deliver orders on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork, collect payments and handle special delivery instructions.
• Return empty cases and gas bottles to the designated yard area.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as picking orders, stock audits and bin‑bay organisation.
• Support other drivers as a driver’s mate when required.

Required profile

• Physical ability to handle manual loading and unloading tasks.
• Willingness to wear appropriate PPE (safety boots, gloves, high‑visibility vest).
• Flexibility to prioritise workload and help in the warehouse as needed.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures at all times.

Required skills

• LGV van operation.
• Forklift or pedestrian truck operation.
