Liability Claims Handler – Junior Adjuster (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Liability Claims Handler to join our Leeds‑based loss adjusting practice as a Desktop Claims Handler. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of employer’s liability (EL) and public liability (PL) claims, progressing towards field work and a company car.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end EL/PL loss files, from initial assessment through to settlement.
• Work with a wide range of industries and coordinate with insurers, brokers and legal representatives.
• Develop expertise in handling TPPD (Third‑Party Property Damage) claims.
• Transition to field adjusting after training, including site visits and inspections.

Required profile

• Experience in liability claims handling within an adjusting, insurer or broking environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ambitious, eager to learn and develop a long‑term field career.
• Willingness to work on a hybrid basis from the office.
• Industry‑relevant qualifications or a commitment to obtain them.
• A clean full driving licence.
