Liability Claims Handler – Junior Adjuster

About the role

Join an established loss adjusting practice as a Desktop Claims Handler, with a clear pathway to field work. You will manage a varied portfolio of employer’s liability (EL) and public liability (PL) claims, gaining experience across multiple industries while receiving full training and support.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, investigate and settle EL/PL claims, including TPPD losses.
• Maintain accurate claim files and produce detailed reports.
• Communicate with clients, insurers and third‑party representatives.
• Collaborate with senior adjusters and contribute to team targets.
• Progress to field work after training and, when qualified, utilise a company car for site visits.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Liability Claims Handler in an adjusting, insurer or broking environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ambitious, eager to learn and develop a long‑term career in field adjusting.
• Willingness to work on a hybrid basis from the office.
• Industry qualifications or a commitment to obtain them.
• Full clean driving licence.
