About the role

The role sits within Dentons' library team delivering high‑quality legal and commercial research services to offices across the UK, Ireland and the Middle East. It combines direct enquiry work with training, current awareness, resource management and project support, helping colleagues navigate a complex digital and AI‑assisted research landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Enquiry work – provide high‑level legal and commercial research for fee earners and business services teams across UK, Ireland and Middle East offices.
• Current awareness – produce the Daily Bulletin, press alerts via LexisNexis NewsDesk and monitor client, industry, legal and regulatory developments.
• Training – design and deliver interactive sessions for early‑career intakes and other library users, including guidance on AI‑assisted research.
• Resource management – manage subscriptions, renewals, invoicing and catalogue records.
• Maintain library portal pages on SharePoint and update research guidance on Prezi.
• Participate in project work and other duties as required.

Required profile

• Significant experience in enquiry/research within a legal or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of major legal and commercial research databases.
• Methodical approach with keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable with technology and able to support others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
