Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Heathrow

About the role

Join Emirates Engineering as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer and help maintain the safety, reliability and performance of Emirates' fleet, including A380, A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft. You will work at the new Manchester Engineering station, supporting aircraft maintenance and certification.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance tasks, including total cabin maintenance and system checks.
• Supervise Aircraft Technicians and ensure maintenance is delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Liaise with the Maintenance Control Centre in Dubai and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support on‑time aircraft dispatch.
• Assist with station administration, materials handling and maintenance documentation.
• Support Aircraft on Ground recovery activities and travel regionally or internationally as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Licensed Aircraft Engineer with an Airbus A380 type rating and at least one additional Emirates type rating (Airbus A350 or Boeing 777).
• Minimum five years’ experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer with strong knowledge of aviation legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an airport pass and airside driving permit for Manchester Airport (DBS and five‑year history check).

Required skills

• Airbus A380 type rating
• Additional type rating on Airbus A350 or Boeing 777
• Aircraft maintenance certification and documentation
• Knowledge of UAE GCAA regulations (or ability to convert licence)
• Supervisory experience in an operational maintenance environment
