Life Sciences Lawyer – 8+ PQE, £95k-£110k

About the role

Join a highly regarded Life Sciences team advising an impressive client base that includes innovative start‑ups, high‑growth businesses, and global pharmaceutical and med‑tech organisations. You will work on a wide range of complex commercial matters across biotech, biopharma, medical devices, diagnostics and related sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate IP licensing and partnering agreements.
• Structure clinical trial arrangements and research collaborations.
• Manage commercial contracts, regulatory matters and data protection issues.
• Provide IP advisory work and conduct due‑diligence for transactions.
• Support a diverse client portfolio including universities, charities and government bodies.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 8+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong commercial law background gained in private practice or in‑house.
• Proven experience advising life‑sciences clients.
• Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness.
