Lift Engineer – Birmingham (Digbeth)

About the role

Stannah is seeking a qualified Lift Engineer to join its Birmingham team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of lifts and stairlifts across key stations in the city.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, urgent repairs and call‑out visits on lifts and stairlifts.
• Ensure all work meets Stannah’s high safety and quality standards.
• Perform risk assessments and keep accurate site log cards.
• Participate in an on‑call rota, receiving standby allowance and call‑out payments.
• Act as the on‑site representative, building relationships with client staff and stakeholders.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working as a Lift Engineer.
• Valid UK driving licence.
