Lifting Equipment Engineer – Up to £45,000 UK-wide

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established UK manufacturer of bespoke lifting equipment. The company is expanding its engineering team and seeks an experienced Lifting Equipment Engineer to deliver safe, high‑quality installations and commissions across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission overhead cranes and other lifting equipment at customer sites.
• Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and company procedures.
• Provide on‑site technical support and troubleshooting during and after installation.
• Travel nationwide and stay overnight as required, with allowances provided.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.

Required profile

• Proven background in overhead crane or lifting equipment engineering.
• Experience in electrical or electromechanical systems.
• Valid IPAF and CSCS cards.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work safely at heights and adapt to technical challenges.
