Line Cook / Commis Chef – Holiday Park

About the role

Join the bustling kitchen team at Parkdean Resorts in Newquay and help deliver great food to holiday guests. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience across all kitchen stations during the busy season.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
• Cook and plate meals to consistent standards during service.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and adhere to food hygiene and safety standards.
• Support senior chefs, rotate stock, receive deliveries and carry out basic prep tasks.

Required profile

• Some kitchen experience is preferred, but enthusiastic novices will be trained.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills across different stations.
• Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
