Linen Porter – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

As a Linen Porter you will join the Housekeeping team at Malmaison Oxford, ensuring that all linen is moved efficiently throughout the hotel. You will support Room Attendants, interact with guests when required, and work independently for periods of time.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, transport and store clean and soiled linen across the hotel.
• Assist Room Attendants with linen needs to maintain room turnover efficiency.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory and report any discrepancies.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely following provided training.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a high level of fitness for the role.

Required profile

• Conversational English is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of moving linen.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work set shifts, typically between 9 am‑3 pm, five days a week.
