Linen Porter – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Linen Porter works behind the scenes at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester, ensuring that clean linen is always available for room attendants and guests. This physically active position keeps the hotel’s laundry operations running smoothly while providing excellent service to both staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, transport, and distribute clean linen to guest rooms and public areas.
• Retrieve used linen from rooms and deliver it to the laundry for processing.
• Maintain accurate inventory of linen stock and report any shortages.
• Support room attendants by promptly responding to their linen requests.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while handling heavy loads.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift heavy items safely.
• Friendly, customer‑focused attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
