Linisher / Polisher – Day or Night Shift

About the role

We are recruiting experienced Linishers/Polishers for a well‑established UK manufacturer of sheet‑metal and stainless‑steel products. The role offers a choice of day or night shifts in a modern, clean facility.

Key responsibilities

• Polish and linish stainless‑steel components to a high standard.
• Remove weld marks, scratches and surface imperfections using hand‑held and bench‑mounted equipment.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work to production schedules and meet customer deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in polishing, linishing, fettling or metal finishing.
• Experience with stainless‑steel products preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Hand‑held polishing equipment.
• Bench‑mounted polishing equipment.
• Use of hand and power tools safely.
