Linux Systems Administrator – Cross Domain Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for a mission‑critical enterprise environment supporting the U.S. federal government. You will continuously improve the infrastructure using the latest technologies and help customers understand network performance through monitoring and metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) in an enterprise setting.
• Enhance infrastructure by applying modern implementation strategies and emerging technologies.
• Monitor network performance, manage metrics, and translate data into actionable information.
• Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission‑critical network.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and methodological guidance to the team.
• Drive network modernization initiatives to meet customer needs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux or CentOS.
• Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of Linux firewalls, networking configuration, and DNS.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of systems administration experience, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification within 60 days of start date.
