About the role

We are seeking a qualified Litigation & Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a respected law firm in Southampton. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of high‑quality civil litigation matters, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team to deliver commercially focused legal solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Advise clients on legal strategy and deliver pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
• Oversee matters efficiently from instruction through to resolution.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex disputes when required.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and the growth of the Dispute Resolution team.
• Support the firm’s reputation within the local market.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with civil litigation experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of civil litigation matters.
• Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach.
