Litigation Paralegal – Chester

About the role

Our client, a reputable law firm in Chester, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support fee earners on a variety of complex dispute resolution matters. You will gain exposure to high‑quality litigation work while developing your legal skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist fee earners with supervised fee‑earning tasks and case preparation.
• Prepare court documents, bundles and standard correspondence.
• Handle new client enquiries and act as a point of contact in the absence of fee earners.
• Attend meetings, mediations and court hearings to take detailed notes and upload them to internal systems.
• Provide routine client updates, draft follow‑up letters and manage enclosures.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in dispute resolution or litigation.
• Previous experience working as a paralegal within the legal sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability, high attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.

What we offer

• Salary £25,000‑£30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Full‑time role, Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm with a one‑hour lunch break.
