About the role
Join a global law firm in London as a Litigation Paralegal, supporting attorneys from the start of a case through trial, arbitration or investigation. You will manage the flow of information, ensure deadlines are met and uphold best practice standards throughout the litigation process.
Key responsibilities
- Manage document production processes, both hard copy and electronic.
- Collect material from clients, opposing parties and third parties, including physical evidence.
- Track and progress materials through the document management system and case milestones.
- Coordinate logistics for document production, imaging and hard‑copy delivery.
- Oversee case management related to documents and document management systems.
- Conduct substantive legal research and factual research.
- Analyse documents and materials, compile appendices, exhibits and bundles.
- Prepare and file briefs and other legal documents, checking citations for format and standing.
- Proofread documents and manage preparation of witness statements, interview outlines and related files.
- Support trial and hearing preparation, compile and track trial exhibits, and prepare pre‑trial documents.
- Interact with external entities such as clients, government agencies, expert witnesses, consultants, other law firms and court personnel.
- Assist team members with material for business development, marketing, articles and pitches.
- Maintain the department’s knowledge‑share system and SharePoint sites, and develop best practices for the London office.
Required profile
- Knowledge of filing documents with the High Court and the Civil Procedure Rules.
- Proactive, able to anticipate needs and work independently without constant direction.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks under time constraints.
- Willingness to take on challenging or unconventional projects at any stage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate courteously with a diverse range of clients, attorneys and staff.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required to fulfil essential duties.
