Litigation Solicitor – Civil Litigation (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Litigation Solicitor to join our Contract Resolution Group within the Civil Litigation Division. The role offers a mix of office and remote work, handling a varied caseload of contract‑related disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fast, intermediate and multi‑track cases arising from contract disputes, including sale of goods, services, building contracts and professional negligence.
• Engage with clients both over the phone and face‑to‑face, providing clear legal advice.
• Use the firm’s case management system to progress files efficiently.
• Prepare billing and invoicing documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a supportive working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising individual and commercial clients on contract‑based disputes across Fast and Multi‑Track claims.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities with a pragmatic approach.
• Client‑focused with excellent communication skills.
• Qualified Solicitor (LLB/CILEX route) or FCILEx level, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• General IT literacy.
