Litigation Solicitor – Commercial & Civil Litigation

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our growing multi‑office firm in Taunton. You will work closely with an existing partner and support the firm’s sole fee‑earner in delivering high‑quality commercial and civil litigation services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied litigation caseload, including property disputes, contentious probate and contract disagreements.
• Provide direct support to a partner, preparing case files, drafting pleadings and attending court.
• Maintain excellent client care by meeting clients face‑to‑face and being responsive to their needs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely progress of matters.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive with experience in general litigation.
• Ability to handle a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable meeting clients in person and delivering a client‑care focused service.
