Litigation Solicitor – Landlord & Tenant Litigation

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a proactive Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its busy Landlord and Tenant Litigation department in Uckfield. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to work on a variety of possession claims and defended proceedings within a client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle defended and complex landlord‑tenant cases, including standard and accelerated possession claims.
• Draft legal documents, comply with court directions and issue possession claims via online and manual systems.
• Prepare instructions for counsel and advocates, produce possession notices and maintain case‑management spreadsheets.
• Attend legal update conferences (virtual or in‑person) and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ‑4 PQE) or CILEx‑qualified legal executive.
• Strong understanding of landlord and tenant law and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and maintain high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and third parties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case‑management software and IT tools used in litigation.
