Litigation Solicitor (NQ)

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified Litigation Solicitor to join our award‑winning Litigation team in the City of London. The role offers the opportunity to work on high‑value civil and commercial disputes across a broad range of sectors, supporting both claimants and defendants.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Litigation Department Director.
• Manage all stages of litigation matters, from pre‑action advice through to court representation.
• Draft pleadings, statements of case, witness statements and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare bundles for trial.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel and third‑party experts, providing clear and timely updates.
• Assist with case strategy, risk assessment and cost management.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (NQ) with a strong academic record.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
