Live-In Care Support Worker – Domiciliary Carer

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Live‑In Care Support Worker to provide person‑centred care, companionship and daily living assistance to clients in Plymouth. The role is live‑in, meaning you will reside in the client’s home and be available around the clock to support their independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and toileting.
• Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals according to client preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a trusting relationship.
• Support daily living activities, including mobility, medication reminders and household tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the client.
• Communicate regularly with families and healthcare professionals as required.

Required profile

• Genuine caring attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to live on‑site and be available for flexible hours.
• Previous experience in live‑in care, domiciliary care or similar support roles.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a professional team.
• Flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time on a permanent basis.
