Live-in Carer for Male Client with Spinal Cord Injury

About the role

We are urgently seeking a compassionate female live‑in carer to support a male client with a C5 spinal cord injury in Lingfield (RH7). The role starts on 1 August and offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialised, round‑the‑clock care in a home setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver live‑in personal care and support tailored to the client’s spinal cord injury.
• Manage bowel evacuation procedures safely and effectively.
• Monitor and respond to episodes of autonomic dysreflexia.
• Provide cough assist techniques as required.
• Assist with daily living activities, medication reminders and mobility support.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.

Required profile

• Female candidate with a minimum of 12 months UK support work or care experience.
• Full UK driving licence (vehicle will be provided).
• Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available.
• Reliable, compassionate and committed to high‑quality care.
