About the role

We are seeking an experienced Live‑Out Estate Manager to take charge of a stunning 60‑acre private estate in Devon. The role combines hands‑on maintenance with strategic oversight of staff and contractors, ensuring the property is always kept to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a resident team including gardeners, caretaker, housekeeper and cleaners.
• Coordinate and supervise ongoing works, projects and contractor activities.
• Maintain the house and grounds to an exceptional standard, especially during periods when the principals are in residence.
• Provide considerate support to the principals' grandparents who live on‑site year‑round.
• Adjust working hours flexibly when the principals are present, while maintaining a Monday‑to‑Friday core schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a private estate or similar high‑net‑worth property.
• Confident leader capable of coordinating a small, dedicated team.
• Highly organised with strong contractor management abilities.
• Discreet, professional and reliable in handling confidential matters.
• Willingness to be hands‑on and perform practical tasks when required.
