Live‑in Nanny for Family on Private Estate in Hertfordshire

About the role

This is a long‑term, full‑time live‑in nanny position with a warm family living on a private estate in Hertfordshire. You will care for two school‑aged children, a 9‑year‑old girl and a 7‑year‑old boy, supporting their daily routines, education and extracurricular activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage morning routines and school runs, including driving to and from school.
• Provide after‑school care, homework support and educational development.
• Plan and organise engaging activities, playdates, outings and holiday schedules.
• Prepare healthy meals for the children and handle kitchen duties related to their diet.
• Maintain children’s laundry, bedrooms, wardrobes and nursery areas.
• Occasional babysitting in the evenings and weekend cover as arranged.

Required profile

• Previous experience caring for school‑aged children.
• Confident driver with a clean licence.
• Non‑smoker with strong organisational skills.
• Active, energetic, outdoors‑oriented personality.
• Patient, calm and emotionally intelligent.
• Comfortable working within a fully staffed household.

Required skills

• Driving licence (clean record).
• Ability to prepare nutritious children’s meals.
• Basic household management (laundry, tidying).
