Loan Operations Manager

About the role

A leading global financial services firm is hiring a Loan Operations Manager on a 14‑month fixed‑term contract. The position sits within a small Operations team and is responsible for the operational management of loans and lending transactions across a diverse investment portfolio that includes private credit, private equity and real estate.

Key responsibilities

• Assess operational requirements of new transactions and understand approval needs.
• Support transactions through execution, booking, ongoing management and closing.
• Manage and maintain transactions using LoanIQ and related platforms.
• Ensure accurate booking, recording and management of all loan transactions.
• Act as an approver for relevant operational processes.
• Oversee loan administration and maintain accurate investment data.
• Manage fees and related portfolio administration.
• Collaborate with cash/clearing, Finance, Legal, Credit, Tax and other specialist teams.
• Liaise with external service providers as required.
• Handle multiple transactions and competing priorities across the portfolio.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in a middle‑office or operations function within financial services.
• Strong experience delivering operational support for bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.
• Proven leadership, oversight or approval responsibilities in an operations environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Exposure to fund operations or portfolio management is advantageous.
