About the role

We are seeking a skilled Lock Plate Assembly Operator to join a precision manufacturing team serving the aerospace and defence sectors. The role involves assembling high‑quality lock plate components to exacting standards, ensuring safety and reliability of critical aerospace products.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble lock plate components and hardware according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Perform bench assembly using hand tools and specialist equipment.
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections throughout the process.
• Identify and report non‑conforming items following company procedures.
• Complete production documentation to maintain full traceability.
• Handle components carefully to avoid damage and preserve quality.
• Adhere to Quality Management System, health and safety, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Methodical approach with a commitment to high‑quality output.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
