Locum Family Support Worker – Home Visiting

About the role
We are seeking a Locum Family Support Worker to deliver early‑help services to families with children under 12 on a temporary basis. The role offers flexible home‑working combined with regular visits to family homes in the Stroud area.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct weekly home visits and assess the complexity of each family’s environment.
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 10‑12 families, completing early‑help assessments and developing SMART plans.
- Coordinate multi‑agency Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings.
- Implement evidence‑based interventions and programmes to improve outcomes for children and families.
Required profile
- Current experience as a Family Support Worker, preferably in early‑help services.
- Ability to travel to family homes (own vehicle and driving licence required).
- Willingness to work on a locum (temporary) basis for several months.
