Locum GP – Friday Cover (Long‑term)

About the role

We are seeking a long‑term locum General Practitioner to cover a full day on Fridays at our practice in Eyemouth. The role offers a mix of clinical consultations (15‑minute appointments) and administrative duties within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care to a diverse population.
• Conduct scheduled consultations and manage follow‑up appointments.
• Share patient visits and contribute to the practice’s administrative workload.
• Collaborate with GP partners, salaried GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists and other community health professionals.

Required profile

• GMC‑registered GP with excellent communication and clinical skills.
• Team player passionate about compassionate, high‑quality care.
• Open to both experienced and newly qualified doctors seeking a supportive environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS PCS clinical system.
• Familiarity with Docman document management.
