Logistics Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Account Manager to join a leading logistics provider on the outskirts of Swindon. The role is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent, offering the chance to manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage individual customer accounts, monitoring KPIs and SLA performance.
• Track order volumes, flows and receipts, escalating issues to support resource planning.
• Maintain close relationships with CRM users and warehouse team leads.
• Prepare accurate weekly/monthly invoices and ensure correct cost allocation.
• Provide first‑line communication for customer queries and complaints, escalating internally as needed.
• Attend internal and on‑site client meetings to discuss account performance.
• Identify and raise rework tasks, ensuring timely resolution.
• Escalate health and safety concerns via SharePoint.
• Answer inbound calls when required and support reception duties.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Proactive communication style and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
• Attention to detail in invoicing and cost verification.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to maintaining strong relationships.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
