Logistics Business Analyst – 12-month FTC

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Logistics Business Analyst on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to join Grundon’s Operations team in Beenham. Reporting to the General Manager of the Waste Collection division, you will help drive operational improvements by analysing processes, performance data and logistics trends.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, analyse processes and propose effective system and reporting improvements.
• Review operational data and performance trends to deliver actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to enhance logistics efficiency, including route optimisation, cost control, service performance and resource planning.
• Act as the liaison between business teams and technical specialists, ensuring clear communication of requirements and project progress.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, forecasts and analytical tools to support operational planning and performance management.
• Support budget planning, pricing reviews and scenario modelling to highlight risks and opportunities.
• Monitor key performance indicators across logistics operations and benchmark performance across depots.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share best practices and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in logistics, supply chain or waste‑collection environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
