Logistics Coordinator – Clinical Trial Supply

About the role

Our client, a global leader in life sciences, is seeking four Logistics Coordinators for a six‑month contract in Horsham. Working under the Logistics Team Leader, you will coordinate import and export activities for clinical trial products, ensuring safe, compliant and on‑time delivery across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import activities, review shipment documentation and provide customs clearance instructions.
• Coordinate export processes, preparing and completing all required shipping documentation.
• Enter shipment information into courier systems to ensure seamless collection and delivery.
• Maintain and file shipment‑related documentation in line with regulatory, study and AEO requirements.
• Respond to internal and external enquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
• Track pro‑forma invoices and obtain client approvals to meet SLA requirements.
• Arrange and monitor shipments through regular communication with courier partners.
• Apply for Certificates of Origin and support Controlled Drug Licence applications.
• Secure cost‑effective shipping solutions by liaising daily with courier networks.
• Deliver logistics performance metrics such as Right First Time (RFT) and On Time In Full (OTIF).
• Provide cross‑training and support to team members as needed.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles in all responsibilities.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, import or export roles.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements (desirable but not essential).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
