Logistics Coordinator – European Commerce

About the role

The client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their busy team in St. Albans. The role supports European commerce by managing the flow of goods from manufacturers to end‑users and acting as the main contact for UK subsidiaries and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Organise collections from manufacturers and coordinate deliveries with European and UK carriers.
• Serve as the principal point of contact for the client, its UK subsidiaries and distributors.
• Manage project timelines, negotiate carrier pricing and monitor customs procedures.
• Process client orders using the in‑house operating system and compile detailed KPI and stock reports.
• Identify additional suppliers and participate in regular review meetings.
• Support other clients by handling their shipments to and from the EU.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain management (manufacturer, transport company or freight forwarder).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to juggle multiple complex tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, positive attitude with commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fully office‑based environment, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑17:30.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
