Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to support warehouse logistics and distribution at our new state‑of‑the‑art facility in Derbyshire. You will manage shipment documentation, update internal systems, coordinate dispatch, and act as a liaison between warehouse teams, transport providers, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Enter all required data into the in‑house computer system.
• Communicate with customers via telephone and email.
• Organise, manage and file paperwork, both personal and departmental.
• Perform the ‘Track and Trace’ process and keep the internal system up‑to‑date.
• Execute the dispatch process, preparing documents using the Durbin system.
• Raise Airway Bills and prepare all logistics paperwork, labels and labelling for dispatch.
• Prepare invoices using the Durbin system.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers and assist colleagues with queries.
• Follow GDP SOPs as instructed and work additional hours when required to meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous logistics experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Familiarity with ERP and TMS systems.
• Knowledge of NES/Customs Entry, dangerous goods handling and freight (sea, air, road).
• Fast and accurate data‑entry skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• High level of organisation and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Availability to work 8:30 am–5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
