Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will join the Supply Chain team of a well‑established North East manufacturer. You will be responsible for planning and executing both UK and international deliveries, ensuring a seamless experience from order dispatch to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate UK delivery schedules, routes and vehicle loads for timely customer deliveries.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of the delivery team, allocating resources to meet commitments.
• Communicate directly with customers regarding delivery times and service updates.
• Coordinate international shipments, including container planning, export invoices and customs documentation.
• Source cost‑effective courier and freight solutions for UK, European and US shipments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics or supply‑chain coordination.
• Good knowledge of logistics planning and delivery management processes.
• Experience with international shipping, export paperwork and customs requirements is highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
