Logistics Coordinator – Life Sciences

About the role

We are looking for four Logistics Coordinators to support a global life‑sciences organisation based in Horsham. Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will manage import and export activities for critical clinical‑trial products, ensuring shipments are compliant, on‑time and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Review shipping documentation, provide customs clearance instructions and prepare export paperwork.
• Log shipment details into courier ERP systems to coordinate collections and deliveries.
• Maintain order records in line with regulatory, study and AEO standards.
• Apply for Certificates of Origin and raise Controlled Drug License applications.
• Resolve client queries, track pro‑forma invoices and liaise daily with couriers to secure optimal shipping solutions.
• Apply GMP standards to achieve Right‑First‑Time and On‑Time‑In‑Full metrics.

Required profile

• Proven administrative or operational experience, preferably in logistics, supply‑chain or courier coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and ability to quickly learn ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, numerical accuracy, high attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and collaborate within cross‑functional teams.
• Desirable: experience in a GMP/cGMP regulated pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of import/export compliance.

What we offer

• £15.86 per hour (£32,000 annual equivalent)
• Monday‑Friday, 08:30‑17:00 (38.75 h/week)
• 6‑month fixed‑term contract with overtime available
